Fifth edition, very good+ lacking a dust jacket. Slight loss of blue cloth at foot of spine; a little wear and soiling to the cloth boards. Nice gilt illustration of the moon over an Oriental harbor on front board. With the ownership signature and bookplate of Paul Brockett, one-time administrator of the Smithsonian. The book is a satire of contemporary American life, as seen through the eyes of Persian archaeologists visiting the ruins in 2951.
