Stated second printing, near fine in a like dust jacket. Purple felt tip ink marks on top and bottom edges of pages. The jacket has a couple of small pulls at the top of the front panel. Introduction by Karl Shapiro. An epic poem which attempts to characterize Harlem from the 1920's on. This work was meant to be the Prologue to a much larger work, but no other volumes were published.
