Eleventh printing of the first edition, very good in a very good dust jacket. Very minor dampstain at bottom of rear board; slight separation at hinge before the half title page. The jacket has some shallow chipping along the top edge, and some general edgewear. Inscribed by the author on the half title page and dated in 1959. The inscription is to Betty Boyd, who hosted a local television show in Tulsa. Laid in is a typed sheet by Boyd talking about her thoughts when she heard that Boyington had died.
