First U.S. edition of the author's first book. Originally published in Italy. Near fine in a very good+ dust jacket. The book has an erasure on the front endpaper, and the last page of text has been opened roughly. The jacket has a couple of almost invisible closed tears at the top of the front panel, and one small chip at the bottom of the front panel. In all, a nice, tight copy of a fairly scarce debut by this black writer.

First edition of the author's second book.Near fine in a very good dust jacket. The book has one small flaw to the red topstain, and a small stain on the front endpaper. The jacket spine has small chips at the top and bottom, and is missing a tiny piece (affecting the "TH" in the title) on the spine.
