Early reprint of this book of poetry, very good in original cloth, circa 1850. Small book (just over 4" high), very detailed embossing on both boards of birds in a leafy scene. Green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine, all page edges gilt. Very faint dampstain at top edge of most pages, a little wear at corners of boards and spine. Untitled engraved frontispiece of a man and woman in a biblical(?) scene. A nice little book, certainly pre-Civil War.
